Support client project managers carry out commercial assurance across multiple projects, providing independent review and challenge of cost, to maintain compliance with NEC4 contract requirements and value for money outcomes.

Support NEC4 Project Managers assess payment claims and negotiate compensation events under NEC4, including evaluation of forecasts, defined cost, programme impacts and risk allowances, providing clear recommendations to the Project Manager.

Monitor project and programme-level financial performance, including establishing/maintaining cost reporting frameworks, tracking committed and forecast outturn costs, and identifying emerging risks, trends and mitigation actions.

Provide cost forecasting and financial insight, supporting business cases, funding justifications and programme reporting, translating commercial data into clear strategic information for senior stakeholders.

Strengthen commercial governance, and improving the capability of the wider team through advice and knowledge sharing.
