Neighbourhood Care Operative needed in Bolton Paying £13.74 per hr ref 000B 2940 / 1 Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Full time hours on a temporarybasis Key Responsibilities Manually sweep and collect litter, debris, and detritus from highways, open spaces, and shrub areas.
Remove fly-tipped waste and safely deal with sharps in accordance with procedures.
Undertake manual and mechanical removal of animal fouling from public areas.
Remove accident debris and dead animals from highways and public spaces.
Empty, clean, and maintain litter and dog waste bins.
Carry out grounds maintenance duties, including: Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers.
Grass edging.
Hedge cutting.
Shrub and flower bed maintenance.
Shrub pruning.
Undertake pedestrian street sweeping and leaf clearance.
Remove graffiti from public property and infrastructure.
Perform routine watercourse inspections and checks.
Assist in maintaining playgrounds, street furniture, and undertake painting where required.
Complete worksheets and records accurately.
Carry out winter maintenance activities, including gritting footpaths and pedestrian routes.
Undertake driving duties associated with service delivery.
Support the delivery of a high-quality neighbourhood environment.
