Β£65 per hour
The successful candidate will be temporarily employed on a full-time basis, 37 hours per week, to cover a long-term sickness absence which is anticipated to extend into maternity leave.
The successful candidate will be required to be in the Client's Environmental Health departments office between three and five days per week, working in regulation of various aspects of health and safety matters in workplaces and commercial premises across the district.
There will also be a requirement to occasionally assist with responses to unauthorised gypsy and traveller encampments in the district.
The candidate must be a qualified Environmental Health Officer or Environmental Health Practitioner who possesses an EHORB Registration or equivalent from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
We are agreeable to paying an appropriate market rate for an EHO to the successful candidate, and we will of course also pay mileage expenses.
