Temporary Accommodation Officer needed in Warwick, £14.62ph PAYE.

Responsibilities include:

  • Notifying relevant sections such as Housing Benefits and Council Tax Departments of placements, moves, and terminations of temporary accommodation.
  • Arranging the storage of applicants’ belongings in accordance with legal duties in cases of abandonment, incarceration, or health-related confinement.
  • Setting up rent accounts, monitoring payments, and terminating accounts and placements promptly according to client procedures.
  • Taking appropriate action regarding rent accounts falling into arrears, liaising with the Housing Benefit department to resolve issues, and monitoring repayment arrangements.
  • Identifying and recommending former occupancy debts to be written off in accordance with policy and procedures.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
