- Planning Officer needed in Oldham Paying £25.27 per hr ref 1768267
- Full time hours on a temporarybasis
- Manage and assess planning applications, ensuring compliance with planning legislation, local policies, and national guidance.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for planning decisions.
- Provide advice and guidance to applicants, architects, developers, councillors, and members of the public on planning matters.
- Conduct site visits and evaluate development proposals, plans, and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with consultees, stakeholders, and internal departments throughout the planning process.
- Present applications and recommendations at Planning Committee meetings when required.
- Handle planning appeals, discharge of conditions, and related casework.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the efficient delivery of the Development Management service.
