The successful candidate will be a CCAB (or equivalent) qualified finance professional with substantial Local Authority experience gained in a similar role. They will lead and manage a team responsible for providing high-quality financial advice and support to the Chief Executives, Resources and Public Health Directorates. The role will involve taking the lead on budget monitoring, budget setting, year-end processes, and the provision of strategic financial guidance, ensuring sound financial management and supporting informed decision-making across the directorates.
