The successful candidate will play a key role in preventing and relieving homelessness by providing high-quality housing advice, guidance, and assessment services to individuals and families in housing need. They will be confident managing a varied caseload, carrying out comprehensive housing assessments, and working closely with customers to explore all available housing options and develop effective personalised housing plans.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of housing legislation and homelessness prevention, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partner agencies. With a customer-focused approach, they will be committed to delivering positive outcomes, supporting vulnerable individuals, and making a meaningful difference within the local community through the provision of professional, timely, and effective housing advice and assistance.
