Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of social care and public health contracts and related commercial agreements.
  • Provide expert legal advice on commissioning arrangements, procurement processes and contractual risk management.
  • Advise on the legal regimes governing social care and public health services, including relevant procurement legislation and regulatory frameworks.
  • Support complex procurement exercises from strategy development through to contract award and implementation.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on legal, commercial and operational risks.
  • Conduct and oversee litigation where required.
  • Develop and maintain contract templates, procedures and best practice guidance.
  • Work collaboratively with commissioning, procurement and operational teams to achieve organisational objectives.
