Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a wide range of social care and public health contracts and related commercial agreements.
- Provide expert legal advice on commissioning arrangements, procurement processes and contractual risk management.
- Advise on the legal regimes governing social care and public health services, including relevant procurement legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Support complex procurement exercises from strategy development through to contract award and implementation.
- Advise senior stakeholders on legal, commercial and operational risks.
- Conduct and oversee litigation where required.
- Develop and maintain contract templates, procedures and best practice guidance.
- Work collaboratively with commissioning, procurement and operational teams to achieve organisational objectives.
