Resident Engagement Officer needed in Barking. This is a temporary role and the rate is £22.54ph PAYE.
The successful candidate will deliver a responsive and dynamic resident engagement function across social housing properties, ensuring services meet the requirements of the Regulator of Social Housing’s Transparency, Influence and Accountability Standard. They will schedule and deliver programmes, events and campaigns that raise awareness, consult on policy changes, gather feedback, and measure resident satisfaction.
They will lead on all logistical arrangements for engagement activities, support the formation and effective operation of Tenants and Residents Associations, and contribute to the smooth running of the Tenants’ Scrutiny Panel by coordinating agendas, attendance and feedback. They will work collaboratively with tenants and residents to plan community events, maintain accurate records, and ensure that tenants’ views are consistently captured, acted upon and used to shape high-quality housing services.
