Information Governance officer needed in Wolverhampton paying Β£18.85ph. Temporary role to support the IG Team on the delivery of the IG framework and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and best practice across data protection, Freedom of Information (FOI), Environmental Information Regulations (EIR), information sharing, and information security.
Responsibilities:
- Backfill support to the Information Governance team; work across the broader Information Governance arena with a mix of duties within the IG framework.
- Support delivery of the IG framework and ensure compliance with statutory obligations and best practice across data protection, FOI, EIR, information sharing, and information security.
- Where appropriate, participate in initial vetting of experience by telephone interviews.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Experience of working in an IG team and undertaking the broader elements of the IG framework.
- Temporary assignment with availability to start ASAP.
- Hybrid working arrangement β initially office-based for a few weeks, then hybrid (office/WFH).
