About the Role
Business Support Officer needed in Walsall, £16.08ph PAYE - Reference: RQ1679126. Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Minute Taking
- Provide an effective administration and business support service, including initiating, undertaking and completing tasks on behalf of all Directorates.
- Provide a quality support service that underpins all Directorates in delivering its core statutory business seamlessly, while ensuring a robust system‑based audit trail across all areas of activity and compliance with national legislation and local policies, procedures and priorities, and escalating as appropriate.
- Work as part of a business support team ensuring the team is proactive, responsive, flexible, efficient and has a strong customer focus, ensuring all customers are dealt with professionally and confidently in line with agreed processes, taking ownership to ensure effective resolution.
- Comply with the Client’s agreed policies and procedures including but not limited to Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities, the Data Protection Act/GDPR Regulations, Freedom of Information Act, Financial Management Regulations and other relevant Government Regulations, Directives and Client‑wide priorities.
