Temporary Accommodation Compliance Officer needed in Slough. This is a temporary contract initially paying £22.98ph PAYE.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of a comprehensive compliance programme across approximately 1500 temporary accommodation units, ensuring all statutory and regulatory documents such as Gas Safety, EICRs, EPCs, FRAs, Legionella and HMO licences are requested, reviewed and accurately uploaded to NEC.
They will monitor certificate validity, identify discrepancies, maintain centralised trackers and escalate non-compliance where required. They will also undertake property inspections to assess standards, occupancy and welfare, investigate disrepair complaints and enquiries, and prepare clear reports and Schedules of Works for landlords or managing agents, following through to completion and sign-off.
The successful candidate will record all visits, provide weekly statistics, complete suitability and audit forms, upload documentation to Jigsaw, update case notes on Jigsaw/NEC, and carry out additional inspections arising from referrals across Housing Regulation, Income Recovery and other teams.
