We are looking for a S106 Agreement Monitoring Officer to maintain the Register of Section 106 Agreements and proactively monitor the agreements to ensure their provisions are recorded and enacted efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an up-to-date register of Section 106 Agreements, ensuring accurate input to relevant software systems.
  • Monitor progress on Section 106 Agreements and identify whether contributions are due through internal sources, digital records, and liaison with developers and relevant stakeholders and partners.
  • Develop, implement and enhance Section 106 processes.
  • Work with the Finance team regarding the calculation of contributions and enter data relating to payments received into relevant systems.
  • Communicate with internal services and external stakeholders regarding Section 106 monies received and advise on intended purposes.
  • Assist with the management of Section 106 monitoring data, record progress on funding, and help prepare written and software-generated monitoring reports.
  • Take a proactive role in monitoring trigger points, including commencement notices, site monitoring, and collaborating with other Council departments to identify commencement and trigger dates.
