Hand Sorters needed in Knaresborough, £12.60ph PAYE - Reference: AWRP. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for removing batteries, vapes, and other hazardous items from waste as it moves along the conveyor.
Key Responsibilities- Work on the picking line to safely remove batteries, vapes, and other restricted materials
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure correct sorting
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Wear required PPE, including a mask, throughout the shift
- Work as part of a team to keep the line running efficiently
- You will be standing on your feet for the full shift
- The facility can become warm and has strong odours due to waste processing
- You may encounter pests in the working environment
- All necessary PPE will be provided
This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
