Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct statutory and non-statutory reviews of housing decisions in accordance with housing legislation and guidance.
- Investigate cases thoroughly, considering all relevant evidence and representations.
- Prepare clear, detailed, and legally robust review decisions.
- Ensure compliance with the Housing Act, Homelessness Reduction Act, and associated legislation.
- Liaise with applicants, advocates, solicitors, and partner agencies throughout the review process.
- Maintain accurate case records and produce reports as required.
- Identify service improvements and contribute to policy development.
- Represent the council or organisation in meetings and hearings where required.
