We now have an opportunity for a Sales Representative to join our team and participate in our growth plans.

What you’ll be Doing:

You will play a crucial role in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities with customers throughout Ireland. Primarily through self-generated leads, you will manage the full sales process from initial contact through to closed sale.

As well as maintaining and developing business with existing key customers, you will also develop and progress sales leads for new and potential customers, * To increase sales of the company’s fire door products to new and existing customers targeting ROI, preparing estimates for plans and spec received

  • Learning and keeping abreast of the latest developments in the field to uphold thorough product knowledge

  • Develop & manage personal sales targets

  • Build and support strategic business relationships with key customers and potential customers in ROI market

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in select target markets

  • Maintain and develop the company’s prospects database and prepare reports on overall performance

  • Liaise with customers to prepare sales quotations and CAD drawings from customers tender drawings/specifications, provide technical guidance and negotiate pricing

  • To work closely with key customers to ensure that all orders are sorted out in a timely and efficient manner

  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction for all products provided

  • To work closely with the Production Manager

  • Order materials if requested, receiving three different supplier quotes before doing so

  • Keeping price lists up-to-date

  • Updating the sales targets every week ("Sales on Books" & "Sales Pending")

  • A minimum of 2-3 years previous sales experience, ideally within the construction, manufacturing or closely related sectors.

  • Experience of working on public and private sector tenders with knowledge of ROI market desirable.

  • Possesses the energy, enthusiasm and ability to work within an environment that requires a hands-on approach.

  • Able to work on their own initiative without the need for supervision.

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • ‘Can Do’ positive attitude and genuine desire to grow with the company

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

  • Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint

  • Valid driving license and ability to travel throughout ROI

The ability to build long term relationships with customers to ensure repeat sales

£35,000 a year – Full-time,
