Can be Sheffield or Birmingham based. Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week. £475-530pd (inside IR35). Initial contract opportunity - likely 6 months with good potential for extension.

We are supporting a leading global financial services organisation in the search for a Project Manager to join a high-profile technology function focused on Demand & Capacity Management across enterprise technology portfolios. This role would suit a hands-on delivery professional who is comfortable operating in fast-paced, complex environments and enjoys solving operational challenges.

We are looking for someone who can quickly embed within the team, work through ambiguity, and drive outcomes across demand planning, resource coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support demand and capacity management activities across technology portfolios.
  • Coordinate and track resource demand, forecasting, and delivery activity.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders across Technology and Infrastructure functions.
  • Analyse and manage demand data, reporting, and MI using Excel and related tooling.
  • Identify operational/process gaps and help drive pragmatic solutions.
  • Provide project management support across planning, governance, and execution activities.
  • Drive actions through to completion in a proactive, hands-on manner.
Key Requirements
  • Proven Project Management experience within large-scale banking or financial services environments.
  • Strong Demand & Capacity Management experience.
  • Previous experience working within Technology, Infrastructure, or Enterprise Technology functions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong Excel and reporting capability.
  • Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity.
  • Delivery-focused mindset with a willingness to roll sleeves up.
Preferred Background
  • Previous experience within Tier 1 banking environments highly desirable.
  • Experience operating within large matrix organisations.
