About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead and coordinate strategic programmes across North American stakeholders. This is a high-profile role requiring exceptional programme delivery expertise, strong stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to operate effectively within a complex international environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, driving programme outcomes, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale transformation and migration programmes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Drive programme governance, planning, risk management, and delivery activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of programme objectives.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and programme reviews in both Spanish and English.
- Manage programme communications, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Support critical migration and transformation activities through key delivery phases.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience operating as a Senior Programme Manager within a large and complex Financial Services organisation.
- Fluent English and business-level Spanish (spoken and written).
- Ability to confidently engage with senior stakeholders in Spanish. Conversational Spanish alone will not be sufficient.
- Strong programme governance, planning, risk, and dependency management experience.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability and willingness to work a consistent shift pattern aligned to North American business hours.
Desirable Experience
- Experience delivering technology, infrastructure, or transformation programmes.
- Understanding of core infrastructure concepts, including:
- Servers
- Storage technologies
- Mainframe environments
- Logical Partitions (LPARs)
- Capacity management and data sizing concepts
- Whilst deep infrastructure expertise is preferred, candidates with strong programme management experience and a solid understanding of infrastructure fundamentals will also be considered.
Working Hours
This role requires a consistent working pattern aligned to North American stakeholders, typically 1:00pm - 9:00pm UK time. As programme activity intensifies, flexibility may be required to support key migration events, stakeholder meetings, and delivery milestones during US business hours.
