CMDB Transformation Delivery Lead (ServiceNow)
  • Β£550650 per day (inside IR35)
  • Initial contract to November 2026 with strong likelihood of extension
  • Sheffield or Birmingham (minimum 2 days per week onsite)

We are supporting a Tier 1 banking client on a large-scale CMDB transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead with strong ServiceNow CMDB experience.

This role sits within a strategic Service Management transformation focused on improving CMDB maturity, Discovery capability, Service Mapping and data quality across a complex global technology estate.

The programme is delivering the migration from a legacy CMDB platform to ServiceNow CMDB and is currently rolling out native ServiceNow Discovery across infrastructure technologies including Windows, Linux, Networks, Storage, Load Balancers and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead delivery of complex technology and infrastructure transformation workstreams.
Drive CMDB maturity, Discovery rollout and Service Mapping initiatives.
Manage delivery plans, governance, RAID and stakeholder engagement.
Coordinate across infrastructure, cloud, network, operations and ServiceNow teams.
Engage senior technology stakeholders within a highly regulated environment.
Ensure delivery milestones are achieved whilst managing dependencies, risks and blockers.

Key Requirements:

Strong technology infrastructure change / transformation delivery background.
Proven experience delivering ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery or Configuration Management initiatives.
Experience working within large-scale banking or financial services organisations.
Strong stakeholder management and governance capability.
Ability to operate independently and hit the ground running within an established programme.

Desirable:

Experience with Service Mapping, Discovery or Configuration Management Database (CMDB) transformation programmes.
Operational Resilience or Service Management programme experience.
