Are you an experienced HGV driver looking for a role with variety and job satisfaction? We are a rapidly growing busy access platform company based in the heart of the Kent countryside, and we're looking for a reliable and safety-focused driver to join our expanding team. Communication and a team mentality are key to this role ensuring our customers receive the best hire experience possible.
About the role:
- Driving and operating our 32t beaver tail trucks primarily delivering and collecting access platforms.
- Supporting the smooth running of daily operations by ensuring timely and safe deliveries with great communication.
- Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all road transport regulations.
- Occasionally assisting on-site with the positioning or access into site of access platforms.
- Performing site surveys to ensure our customers hire the right machine for the job in hand.
What We're Looking For:
- A full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence (Class 1 would be an advantage).
- A valid in date 3a/3b Ipaf certificate would be an advantage although training can be provided.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience in plant or platform delivery is desirable but not essential; training can be provided.
- A proactive, flexible, and reliable attitude.
- Good communication and customer service skills are a must; we pride ourselves on delivering a great customer experience.
