Essentia Solutions Group are recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturing company based in Camberley, Surrey. Due to the expansion of their service lab department, they are currently looking to recruit an assembly technician to join their team.

The Role

  • To assemble equipment columns, prepare exhibition equipment, and carry out return equipment testing and/or repairs. Additionally, the role involves operating forklifts and mechanical lifting equipment to facilitate these tasks.

Key Duties

  • Assemble equipment columns according to technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Prepare stock for Sales Van orders. Support with the installation of ovens for the vans.
  • Perform repairs, tests & cleaning of returned equipment, diagnosing faults, and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
  • Prepare exhibition equipment for display at trade shows and ensure they are in optimal working condition with the correct additional equipment required.
  • Monthly maintenance of equipment.
  • Operate forklift and mechanical lifting equipment safely and efficiently to maneuver equipment within the service lab area.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, always adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Document all equipment assembly, repairs, or testing activities accurately.
  • Report back consistent failures and suggest long-term solutions or improvements.
  • Exemplify company values.
  • Any ad hoc tasks required.
