Are you a commercially driven estimator with a track record of winning work in Technical FM or Building Services? This is a key strategic role where you'll lead complex bids, influence commercial outcomes, and play a vital part in driving business growth. As Principal Estimator, you'll own the full bid lifecycle — from initial enquiry through to contract award, mobilisation, and handover — ensuring high-quality, competitive, and compliant submissions every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end tender and quotation processes
- Develop detailed cost models (labour and asset-based)
- Produce high-quality written submissions and support contract negotiations
- Manage contract renewals and re-bids
- Conduct site surveys to assess assets, systems, and maintenance requirements
- Build asset registers and maintenance plans from scratch
- Own and deliver mobilisation plans post-award
- Ensure seamless transition into operational delivery
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor proposals
- Identify value opportunities and drive commercial efficiencies
- Upload and manage PPM data within CAFM systems
- Lead handover to operations teams
- Support asset validation and ongoing cost management
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful contract delivery
About You
You're a confident, detail-oriented professional with strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Experience mentoring or leading team members
- Working knowledge of InDesign

- Experience within Technical FM (operational or managerial roles)
