Are you looking to start your career within the Engineering sector and build a successful long-term future in the world of estimating with an award-winning group? We are looking for a motivated, organised, and detail-focused Estimating Apprentice to join our team and develop a career in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering. Working alongside experienced estimators, you will gain hands-on experience in pricing projects, reading technical drawings and specifications, attending client meetings, and supporting live tenders across exciting building services projects. You will also be attending a Level 3 course once a week at London South for 32 months.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Learning all aspects of M&E estimating
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Measuring and quantifying from design drawings
  • Using estimating software (Amtech Estimation)
  • Supporting tender submissions and project pricing
  • Attending site surveys and client meetings
  • Liaising with supply chain partners and internal teams
  • Managing deadlines and prioritising workloads

What We’re Looking For

  • A passion for estimating or engineering
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Strong relationship-building and teamwork abilities
  • GCSE Maths & English Grades 6–9 preferred, along with strong A-Level results
