Tasks:
- Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
- Supervise other workers
- Estimate costs and materials
Supervision: 3-4 people
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, Physically demanding
Personal suitability: Client focus, Team player
