Esse Health is currently seeking a full-time LPN for our Swansea Internal Medicine Office located at 4 Park Place in Swansea, IL!
Full-time opening:
- Monday, 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Tuesday & Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- Rotating Fridays, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Day-to-Day:
- Provide direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems.
- Utilize your knowledge and basic nursing principles, practices and ethics.
- Assist the provider in the interviewing, examination and treatment of patients.
- Measure vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height.
- Perform phlebotomy and give injections.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (NextGen).
- Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team.
Who we are seeking (preferred):
- The LPN is highly visible in their interactions with patients and must therefore project a positive office image at all times including smiling, greeting patients with enthusiasm, and maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude in all interactions with patients and coworkers.
- Formal training which will probably be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited LPN school of nursing.
- CPR Certification.
- One or more years of experience in ambulatory care.
- Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate effectively and to work compatibly with physicians, coworkers, and employees in other departments.
What We Offer:
- The pay range for this position will likely be $23.00 - $28.00/hour (placement within this range will be dependent upon a variety of factors, including relevant experience).
