Essco is looking for a reliable and proactive Senior Warehouseperson to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in keeping our warehouse organised, safe and efficient while supporting both warehouse operations and production activities.
About the Role As our Senior Warehouseperson, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day organisation and running of the warehouse, ensuring materials, stock and finished products are managed accurately and efficiently.
Working closely with the production team, you'll help ensure materials are available when needed, deliveries are managed effectively and customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time.

- What You'll Be Doing
- Managing the day-to-day organisation of the warehouse
- Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory control
- Conducting stock checks, PI counts and stock takes
- Managing goods in and goods out processes
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely
- Operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Picking, checking, packing and preparing orders
- Working closely with production to ensure material availability
- Supporting and coordinating the production team when required
- Promoting a strong health and safety culture
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient warehouse environment
- Liaising with suppliers, transport providers and internal teams
- Supporting continuous improvement of warehouse processes and procedures What We're Looking For Essential
- Previous warehouse experience, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, HVAC, construction or a similar environment
- Strong stock control and inventory management experience
- A valid forklift licence
- Experience loading and unloading goods safely
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety requirements
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Experience supporting or leading a team
- Basic computer and warehouse system skills Desirable
- First Aid qualification
- Fire Marshal qualification
- Additional health and safety or warehouse-related qualifications
