Our client based locally in Stonehouse is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join them on their Twilight Shift - Full time working shift split across the days of Monday- Wednesday 14:00-00:30 and 14:00-23:30 (Thursday).

The position would ideally suit someone with a flexible attitude to work and a desire to add to their existing skills set.

Location: Stonehouse

Hours: Mon- Wed 14:00-00:30 and 14:00-23:30 (Thurs)

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £14ph (plus overtime)

Type of Contract: Temporary/Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • The role will include the full assembly of parts pre and post paint.
  • Follow work orders, ability to read production drawings and sample assemblies to ensure items are assembled correctly.
  • Report on stock levels as required.
  • Packaging and dispatch of products as required.
  • Checking and reporting goods in as required.

Requirements:

  • Good ability to work quickly and diligently.
  • Confident with use of handheld mechanical tools for assembling components.
  • Self-motivated and able to work individually or as part of a team and prioritise their own workload.
  • A positive hands-on approach with previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a safe manner following health, safety, environment and quality guidelines and instructions.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
