We are seeking an experienced and driven Cleaning Manager to lead delivery of high-quality cleaning services within a Defence environment. You will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring compliance, and maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards, while delivering an outstanding customer experience in line with Compass Group standards.
- Oversee daily cleaning operations, ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Lead, train, and motivate cleaning teams to consistently deliver excellent service.
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, and labour costs effectively within budget.
- Monitor cleaning standards through regular audits and inspections, driving continuous improvement.
- Maintain stock control of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Ensure all compliance documentation, COSHH records, and cleaning schedules are up to date.
- Support wider soft FM operations and provide cover for supervisors where required.
Proven experience managing cleaning operations or soft FM services. Knowledge of health & safety regulations and cleaning compliance (including COSHH). IT literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Full UK Driving Licence. Knowledge of service management or auditing systems. Relevant cleaning or FM qualifications. Ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities.
