Pastry Chef required in Canary Wharf, paying up to 43K. We are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our high-end contract catering team within a prestigious banking environment in Canary Wharf. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled pastry professional who enjoys producing refined desserts and hospitality offerings in a professional corporate setting.

What you'll be doing as a Pastry Chef:

  • Creating and delivering fine dining desserts for restaurant service (up to 50 covers per week)
  • Producing a range of cakes, pastries, and sweet treats for the on-site coffee bar
  • Preparing elegant petit fours for hospitality and meeting room service
  • Contributing to hospitality events with buffets, finger foods, canapés, and dessert displays
  • Maintaining exceptional presentation standards and attention to detail
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations
  • Supporting menu development with seasonal and innovative pastry ideas

What you'll need to succeed as a Pastry Chef:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in fine dining, hospitality, luxury hotels, or high-end contract catering
  • Strong pastry, dessert, and cake production skills
  • Creative flair with excellent presentation standards
  • Organised and able to manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and allergen management
  • A positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
