Snapshot of the role: As our Neighbourhood Exec Chef, you will be the driving force behind the culinary quality, innovation, and overall experience of our Client Food program. You will lead, inspire, and develop our talented culinary team to consistently deliver delicious and nutritious food, coupled with outstanding service. Your role will be pivotal in supporting operational excellence and enhancing the experience for our valued partners.
This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your strong culinary and operational acumen, collaborating with key stakeholders across culinary, nutrition, marketing, behavioural science, concept development, procurement, risk management, operations, and our people teams. Your focus will be on upholding our high standards, exceeding Client Food expectations, and continuously elevating the partner experience.
What you'll bring:
- A strong passion for creating exceptional food and delivering outstanding hospitality.
- Proven leadership capabilities with at least 2 years of experience in a similar Executive Chef role within a professional kitchen or bakery environment of comparable volume and quality food service establishment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate culinary vision and operational requirements clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure and effectively motivate a team.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proven ability to organise and manage multiple teams and operations across multiple sites.
