We are seeking a Machine Shop/Engineering Labourer for an established engineering company in the Kingswood area.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare parts for subcontract processes such as grinding, fettling, or polishing
  • Deburr to a fine degree
  • Assemble components from mechanical/engineering drawings
  • Perform other non-machining activities as required
  • Data entry on stores software system
  • Collaborate with managers and supervisors to implement company policies and objectives
  • Maintain a healthy, safe, and tidy workplace

Personal Profile & Skills:

  • Engineering experience preferred
  • Knowledge of mechanical assembly disciplines
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Hours of Work:

Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
Friday: 07:30 - 13:00
