MAC OPERATOR

ESS Employment Ltd are seeking a MAC Operator to join our local client in Bristol.

Salary: £30k – £38k per annum

Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:45pm

Start Date: April 26

Location: Bristol

Responsibilities:

• Create repro’d/print-ready artwork from supplied customer files, following specifications.
• Check all files to ensure high standards.
• Produce technically correct print-ready files, considering packaging aspects like colours, varnishes, and printer specifications.
• Collaborate with the Pre-Press team to ensure accuracy and communicate issues.
• Meet deadlines for assigned clients.
• Prepare print stations from repro’d files for workflow.

Personal Skills / Qualifications:

• Experience with industry-standard artwork production software.
• Experience with GMG Opencolor software.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Creative and technical thinking abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Proactive attitude.
• Experience with Artios CAD (desirable).
• Previous packaging artwork experience, especially folding cartons.
• Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Esko Artpro/Artpro+.
• Experience with Esko Automation Engine (advantageous).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
