We're looking for a collaborative Sous Chef to join the dynamic team at Charlton Athletic Football Club - an iconic stadium with a strong blend of heritage and community that offers the ideal environment for entertaining football and first-class food.

As Sous Chef you will play a key role in leading a motivated culinary team to deliver exceptional service to our clients and guests.

Working closely with the Hospitality Head Chef and deputising in their absence to create best in class culinary experiences to all our guests throughout this exciting sporting venue!

  • Sous Chef - The role
  • Work in collaboration with all departments within the catering team to deliver excellent food
  • Overseeing the preparation, cooking and service arrangements, taking responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the stadium kitchens day to day
  • Taking reasonable care across all aspects of health and safety including relevant training and documentation
  • Maintain high levels of food safety throughout your working environment at all times
  • Create and maintain a pleasant working environment through integrity, positivity and being a team player
  • Support in managing variable labour in line with budgeted guidelines.
  • Work closely with head chef and Levy management to minimise any unnecessary costs.
  • Ensure menus are costed and in line with budget.
  • Complete weekly stocktakes and invoice recording, in line with company policy
