We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Event Planner to join our Catering Planning Team at LEX Liverpool. You will manage events from enquiry through to delivery, working closely with clients, operational teams, chefs, and venue stakeholders to ensure every event runs seamlessly. From conferences and exhibitions to gala dinners and corporate meetings, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining Levy's high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client enquiries and coordinate events from planning to delivery.
  • Develop event proposals, catering packages, and service plans.
  • Work with culinary and operations teams to deliver outstanding events.
  • Coordinate event logistics, suppliers, and venue requirements.
  • Prepare quotations, contracts, and event documentation.
  • Build strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact.
  • Support event delivery and resolve operational challenges when required.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and company standards.
  • Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through upselling and added-value services.

About You:

  • Previous experience in event planning, hospitality sales, or event operations.
  • Passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Good knowledge of food and beverage operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management systems.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions focused.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced events environment.
