Rate of Pay

16.00 per hour

Shift Pattern

Monday-Friday, 6:00-14:00 40 hours per week (May need to cover nights & weekends in emergencies as this is a 24/7 Distribution Centre)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the kitchen team to maintain high standards.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and service delivery.
  • Manage stock, ordering, and food cost control while minimising waste.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, health & safety, and due diligence procedures.
  • Assist with menu development and seasonal menu planning.
  • Oversee kitchen operations and service in the Head Chef's absence.
  • Monitor labour costs and support effective rota management.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and well-maintained kitchen environment.
  • Support the delivery of hospitality, events, and special functions as required.
