About the role As Head Chef, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the kitchen and food operation, ensuring consistently high standards across restaurant service, hospitality and events. You'll be responsible for: Leading the day-to-day running of a high-quality contract catering operation. Taking ownership of kitchen operations, processes, standards and service delivery. Leading the food offer across the restaurant, hospitality and coffee bar. Overseeing hospitality and events, delivering exceptional food and service for a wide range of requirements. Managing food costs, purchasing, stock, labour and overall financial performance. Leading menu engineering, pricing and commercial development across the operation. Creating innovative, seasonal and commercially focused menus across all food service areas. Working closely with the client and wider management team to develop and deliver an ambitious food strategy. Leading, motivating and developing the kitchen team.
