To work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, delivering exceptional service via phone and email. The role involves proactively managing customer enquiries, generating new sales leads, and supporting existing business relationships across Southern UK and Italy. You will also be responsible for a range of administrative and operational tasks to ensure the sales function runs efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development
- Liaise with customers in a professional and timely manner
- Prepare and follow up on quotes and process customer orders
- Meet and exceed set sales KPIs and targets
- Conduct product research and assist with product identification
- Handle customer queries, issues, and complaints, ensuring timely resolutions
- Perform sales and market analysis when required
- Actively support the growth and development of the Southern UK and Italian markets
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date LIONS reports and call logs weekly
- Handle invoicing processes accurately and efficiently
- Scan, photocopy, and file documents as needed
- Answer calls and emails, transferring to appropriate departments or team members
- Liaise with couriers and freight forwarders to resolve shipping issues and raise claims where necessary
- Draft and format relevant documents for internal and external use
- Assist with general sales team administration and provide cover for office admin as needed
- Ensure all paperwork and numerical records are accurate and complete
- Represent the company at UK and European trade shows
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and internal meetings
- Travel to Italy (minimum twice per year) for market visits and events
- Assist with special projects and assignments, maintaining full confidentiality
Experience and Skills
- Work Experience
- Fluent in Italian and English (essential, both verbal and written)
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing sales or support environment
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Experience meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- High level of numeracy and literacy
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks
- Understanding of international markets, ideally with experience dealing with suppliers across Europe
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of relevant products, industry trends, and market demands is advantageous
- Previous experience in telesales, area sales, or business development roles
- Background in international or bilingual customer service environments

Our client is seasonal so in the summer period you work 40 hours and the winter period 34 hours. The average is 37 hours per week and your pay is based on this.
