We are now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Conference and Banqueting Manager to lead the delivery of first-class hospitality at The RDS. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing high-profile events, and is committed to providing an outstanding guest experience.
As Conference and Banqueting Manager, you will take ownership of planning, coordinating, and delivering hospitality services across all events and supporting matchday events. We design and deliver bespoke guest experiences that prioritise people and the planet.
The role includes:
- Ensuring compliance with specifications of meetings and events orders by working closely with the Meetings & Events Sales team.
- Leading, motivating, and managing hospitality staff including supervisors, servers, and casuals.
- Conducting pre-event briefings and regular team meetings to share objectives and standards.
- Overseeing inventory control, stock rotation, and minimising waste.
- Providing financial reporting and analysis as required.
- Ensuring all health & safety and food hygiene standards are maintained and implementing venue and Levy procedures to create a safe working environment.
- Functioning as the primary hospitality contact for clients, vendors, and partners, building strong professional relationships to ensure service continuity and client satisfaction.
- Leading post-event reviews to capture feedback and implement service enhancements.
Requirements:
- Strong background in conference catering and F&B service delivery for premium clientele within a stadium, hotel, or large venue.
- Strong organisation, multitasking, and project management abilities.
- Must be flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Up to date with trends in food, beverage, technology, and guest services.
