About the role:

We're looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to take charge of a designated kitchen section and deliver high-quality dishes for a variety of events, including live shows, conferences, and exhibitions. Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll help plan menus, coordinate with the team, and ensure smooth, efficient service under pressure. This role requires excellent organisation, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences tailored to diverse dietary needs.

Duties:

  • Support the Head Chef in planning and delivering high-quality, event-specific menus.
  • Manage a kitchen section, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to consistent standards.
  • Uphold food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Adapt to diverse event requirements and respond effectively to high-pressure situations.
  • Create specialised menus that accommodate dietary needs and preferences.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, promoting continuous learning and development.
  • Monitor food quality and minimise waste to support sustainable kitchen practices.

Who you are:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role with a strong culinary background.
  • Skilled in preparing a wide variety of high-quality dishes.
  • Experience in catering for events, staff restaurants, or conferences.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Well-organized with the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and adapts well to last-minute changes.
  • Deep understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
