We are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to join our team in Cardiff. The role is Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, with shifts on a rota basis but generally from 7:00am to 3:30pm.
The Chef Manager will:
- Plan, organise and direct the preparation and cooking of food ensuring that the company's reputation for quality is enhanced with customers and clients at all times.
- Adopt a hands-on approach taking responsibility for food production covering all employee dining along with an extensive range of pop-ups.
- Possess an exceptional drive for quality and innovation.
- Be responsible for all aspects of food safety, Health & Safety and COSHH.
- Implement and maintain food monitoring procedures to facilitate budgetary control and monitor all costs involved in the kitchen against agreed budgets.
Our Ideal Chef Manager will:
- Have proven experience in a role as Chef Manager, demonstrating a track record of catering for large numbers while making the customer feel that their meal has been individually prepared for them.
- Have a real passion for food and customer service along with enthusiasm, recognising that customer engagement is key.
- Be skilled in food innovation and development, staying up to date with current food trends.
- Have a good financial understanding.
- Maintain high standards and be quality driven.
