We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our client in Nailsworth on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will primarily be part of the accounts team.

Nailsworth

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

Start Date:

Immediate

Salary:

£25,000 – £28,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Match signed delivery notes to purchase orders and supplier invoices
  • Capture supplier invoices onto the accounting system
  • Record daily bank transactions for Purchase Ledger
  • Manage Prepaid Invoices/Proforma Invoice process
  • Handle Goods Received Not Invoiced process
  • Maintain over deliveries schedule
  • Resolve supplier queries via email and telephone
  • Set up and maintain supplier accounts in purchase ledger
  • Process weekly Proforma payments and ad hoc supplier payments
  • Complete monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Submit and pay monthly supplier payment runs with reconciliation packs
  • Manage employee travel bookings and arrangements

Experience:

Minimum 1 year in accounting preferred.

  • Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00
