We are seeking committed, reliable Drivers for our busy client based in Yate. The work involves driving a 7.5T vehicle across the UK, including areas such as Manchester, Birmingham, Southampton, and London.
Salary: £31 per annum
Hours: 41.3 hours per week
Start Date: February 04
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all ISO, Health & Safety, Personnel Policies, and Procedures
- Comply with the Company Vehicle Policy and Department of Transport regulations regarding Tachograph and working hours
- Respect company vehicles and drive within the law
- Communicate problems, queries, and customer requests promptly
- Collect cash or cheques from customers when requested, with prior permission if goods are undelivered
- Ensure the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times
Tasks
- Drive the 7.5T vehicle safely and responsibly
- Deliver equipment and consumables
- Maintain stock and consumables levels with customers
- Update systems with delivery information and track KPIs
- Return undelivered goods to the warehouse
- Capable of lifting up to 40kg
- Work as part of the driving team, providing excellent customer service
- Be flexible to meet customer requirements
- Represent the company professionally with customers and the public
Personal Profile & Requirements
- Class C1 license with less than 6 points
- CPC and Tachograph certification
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Available for full-time employment on a temp-to-perm basis
