VACANCY - VAN DRIVER (B1 Licence)
ESS Employment Limited are seeking a Delivery Driver (B1 Licence) for an established and successful hospitality company. The successful candidate must be willing to drive to various areas in the UK.
Duties include:Van Driving - driving light vans (8 16 drops per day)Delivering equipment and consumablesResponsible for ensuring stock and consumables levels are maintained with customersUpdating relevant systems with information on deliveries and activities, tracking all KPIs.On return to the warehouse take undelivered goods to the relevant areaCapable of lifting up to 40kgTo be part of the multi skilled driving team, offering a high level of service to customersTo be aware of, and as flexible as possible, to accommodate each customers specific requirementsTo be a front line ambassador of the company at all times, both with the customers and other members of the public.
Key Responsibilities:To adhere to all ISO9000, Health & Safety, Personnel Policies and Procedures
To respect company vehicles and always drive within the law
To communicate problems, queries and customer requests promptly and in accordance with the line of communication issued
To collect cash or cheques from customers when requested, not leaving goods where payment is not available without prior permission of a Manager or senior member of staff
To be responsible for the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times
Requirements:B1 licence with less than 6 pointsMust have positive, can-do attitudeAvailable for full-time employment on a temp to perm contract
