Our client is seeking an experienced Administrator to assist in the effective running of the general Office and Sales team.
General duties:
- Monitor Shared Inbox.
- Answer via phone and email queries from customers.
- Receive and process orders.
- Build up a thorough understanding of our client’s product base.
- Answer enquiries over via phone and by email.
- Update and monitor planning system.
- Enter orders on the system.
- Provide a comprehensive service to customers from ascertaining requirements to booking appointments for installation.
- Liaise closely with Office Managers, the Area Sales Team and Service Engineers.
Skills and experience required:
- Honest, reliable, trustworthy character with a strong work ethic and a positive, flexible/adaptable attitude to work.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Friendly and approachable, yet professional with a positive and enthusiastic outlook; good at working with others and motivated to give exceptional service to our customers.
- Excellent level of numeracy and English literacy.
- Ability to work alone with minimum supervision as well as part of a team. Able to follow instructions and requests from Manager/Supervisor.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience within an office environment covering administration/customer service-based duties.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience of managing and effectively prioritising workload.
- Experience of working in an office and communicating effectively with a wide range of people.
- Experience with working with Sage desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
