The predicted salary is between 11 - 14 £ per hour.
We're currently recruiting a motivated Security Officer to help us ensure continual safety for Defence on a full time basis, contracted to 42 hours per week.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:- Patrol premises and manage alarm systems
- Ensure schedules of checks are followed in accordance with Procedures.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and abusive behaviour
- Undertake verbal de-escalation and, as necessary, trained restrictive practices in a professional and legal manner, and in accordance with policy, risk assessments and SOPs
- Complete daily reports of accidents and incidents
- Aid and support all patients, visitors and staff when faced with difficult and distressing situations.
- Escort staff, manage lost property and keys, and assist police as needed
- Use of IT software in relation to security and car parking operations
- Operate CCTV and security software (SIA licence required for CCTV)
- Provide crowd or traffic control duties as required.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and risk assessments
- Complete a range of cleaning duties including the use of manual, mechanical and cobotic equipment as per agreed schedules and as a rapid response service
- Replenishing and cleaning of the retail unit and responding to the "assistance required" call system.
- Remain flexible to work at other nearby units if needed
- A valid SIA licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent understanding of Security procedures
- Good organisational skills
- Good standard of numeracy skills, reading and writing ability
- Possess the ability to work under pressure
- Have an eye for detail
- Understand relevant health & safety, criminal laws and operations
