We're currently recruiting a dedicated Mess Clark to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. As a Mess Clark, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:- Maintaining and building a relationship with relevant committee members.
- Create new mess members and ensure mess memberships/bills are up to date.
- Keeping mess member records up to date.
- Creating mess bills and I&Es.
- Recording of PAYD and Chits.
- Processing of supplier invoices.
- Support debt management.
- Daily cash checks.
- Recording of income.
- Creation of sales orders.
- Posting of journals during month end to ensure SAP is closed correctly reflecting mess bills.
- Producing the monthly mess bills.
- Pulling together the I&E Debt reporting.
- Looking to progress a career in Finance with relevant qualifications (e.g. AAT).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have an inquisitive and intriguing outlook with confidence to approach the business.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and system skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- SAP experience (desirable).
