We are looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Finance team during a fixed-term period.

What you'll be doing
This role will provide key support across transactional finance, financial reporting, and management accounting activities, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations and contributing to the preparation of monthly management accounts. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business, supporting the accounts payable process, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reporting and analysis.
The role will involve assisting the accounts team with the processing of bank transactions, expense claims, new suppliers and ad hoc requests. You will ensure bank transactions are correctly posted and reconciled as well as maintain the cash forecast and cash balance reports. You will also support the Management Accountant with month-end tasks including:
- Posting of accruals & prepayments
- Inter-company recharges
- Fixed asset entries
- Overhead review
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of management reports.
Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team will be important for success.
