The Technical Support Dispatcher will form part of our highly experienced & dedicated Technical Support Team.
The role is responsible for providing 1 st Line support to our customers who have technical queries. This includes logging calls, acquiring key technical information, communicating and working with third parties to resolve calls. In addition specific the position includes the responsibility for the creation of customer reports on support progress and proactive courtesy calling to ensure customers satisfaction with the level of service provided.
Skills required :
- Experience in the use of GIS packages, preferably though not necessarily ArcGIS products.
- Broad level of knowledge of GIS principles, computer technology and enterprise solutions.
- Willingness & ability to learn and understand the technologies, products & services which form the basis of the ESRI GIS products.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills applied in a customer facing environment
- Ability to work across departments to gain internal support to resolve customer’s enquiries.
- Competency in the use of standard office software packages.
- A degree in Geography or a Geography related subject would be beneficial.
