You will ideally:

  • Have some hands-on experience using technology to solve geospatial problems (if you are a recent graduate without commercial GIS experience, you may wish to consider applying for our Graduate Programme)
  • Have experience with ArcGIS or another GIS platform (ArcGIS experience is an advantage, but not essential)
  • Understand, or be keen to learn, how geospatial technology is used across web, desktop, and mobile environments
  • Be able to communicate technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Enjoy building positive working relationships and translating customer needs into practical technical solutions
  • Be curious, proactive, and enthusiastic about problem-solving
  • Have some awareness of databases, development, web, or cloud technologies (helpful, but not required)
  • Be eligible to work full-time in the UK and able to pass a security clearance (essential)

We work flexibly and trust people to work in a way that suits them and their role. You can be home-based, office-based (Edinburgh, Aylesbury, or Cambridge), or a combination of both. We work virtual-first with most customers, although some travel to customer sites and Esri UK offices will be required.
