Are you an ArcGIS Enterprise specialist? We’re growing our Operational Services team and are looking for motivated Enterprise Services consultants who want to develop deep technical skills working with our customers on ArcGIS Enterprise builds, installations, migrations and upgrades. You’ll work with colleagues across departments to build, install, migrate and upgrade customer environments, alongside performing health checks, resolving technical issues, and contributing to service improvements. Our team are ArcGIS Enterprise subject matter experts, working within customer environments as well as cloud environments managed by Esri UK.

What you’ll do:

  • Install, configure and optimise ArcGIS Enterprise, including federation, web adapters, authentication, networking and more.
  • Deploy Esri technology in-situ, in AWS and Azure environments using CloudFormation, ArcGIS Cloud Builder and other automation tools.
  • Configure ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS web applications and install and configure enterprise geodatabases.
  • Load and manage spatial data, including key UK datasets.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with customers—guiding, advising and supporting them to get the very best out of Esri technology.
  • Provide knowledge transfer, training and best practice guidance.
  • Spot opportunities for customers to get even more value from their deployments and pass these on to project and customer success teams.
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends in GIS and Enterprise IT, sharing insights across the business.

About You:

You’re someone who thrives in a deeply technical, customer facing role - and who loves solving problems using Esri’s ArcGIS Enterprise technology.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a GIS Consultant, Technical Support Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar.
  • Proven track record of software installations, configuration and deployment.
  • Excellent understanding of Windows and Linux IT environments including databases, networking, authentication, firewalls, infrastructure (cloud and in-situ) and security protocols.
  • Ideally some knowledge of Python and/or Powershell.
  • Strong problem solving and system analysis skills.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication—written, verbal and visual.
  • Experience delivering work on time and within budget, whilst achieving measurable targets.
  • Understanding of GIS and how ArcGIS Enterprise supports customer workflows.
  • Familiarity with working within compliance and governance standards and processes.
  • Familiarity with UK GIS datasets, addressing standards, and common workflows.

Degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science or related field—or equivalent experience.
